West Branch Aviation plans to offer flight and ground training in all aspects of general aviation from student pilot through airline transport pilot certificates.  This will include training in the Airplane Category for:

    Student Pilot,
    Recreational Pilot,
    Private Pilot,
    Commercial Pilot,
    Airline Transport Pilot Certificates
    and the Instrument Rating,.

    Further items are currency training which includes:
        Biennial Flight Reviews
        Instrument Proficiency Checks

    Endorsements including:
        Tailwheel training
        High Performance training
        Complex Aircraft Training

  Plans include the above training for single engine land plane, single engine sea plane, and multi-engine land plane.

   Plans include training for ski planes (which does not include any certificate since none is necessary).

   Other plans include ultralight training.

   Ground school (or individual training) and Flight training are available for any of these on request.  To put together a ground school would require more than four students, but individual training can be done any time, and with any number of students.

   The only plane available at this time is a Cessna 172 which currently limits our training to single engine land at this time.

   We are also in the process of  becoming certified by the State of Maine for "Occupational Retraining".
